Porous aluminum and other porous materials
When making molds for vacuum thermoforming, there are two conflicting criteria - the matrix passes through air and at the same time is healthy. Until now, the industry professionals have had 2 solutions - using raw MDF that is porous, but it breaks out with larger prints and is hard to polish. The perfect material is aluminum, but it does not pass through air and drilling of technological openings. End of compromise - we have a solution!
